Mount Snowdon Challenge

0

Having run over 1,000 miles dressed in full Stormtrooper gear, I’ve decided to rotate the challenge slightly… climbing 3,560 feet straight up Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in the British Isles, south of the Scottish Highlands.

On 9th September 2017 I will be climbing up to the very summit of Snowdon, along with a team of 15 people who will help make sure I make it up, and down!

This challenge is to help raise money for the Hull children’s charity Nice 2b Nice, which offers financial support to buy specialist equipment for disadvantaged children, does ‘Surprise Days’ for terminally Ill children and offers respite with a free holiday in a holiday home called Phoebe’s Lodge. You can check out their page here: https://www.facebook.com/N2BNUK

This is the Hull division of the Life For A Kid Foundation, and offers much needed support, care and specialised equipment for disabled and disadvantaged children, as well as providing respite care, and ‘Surprise Days’ for the children and their families.

This is a fantastic charity, with whom I have worked previously to help raise money, and I would be extremely grateful if you could spare £1, or whatever you can afford, to help this worthy cause, and to motivate me through the months of training required. I have a donation page here: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/stormtrooper

I’d also be grateful if you could share this page, on Facebook, Twitter or anywhere else, to help raise awareness of the challenge, the charity, and the fundraising page.

Thank you! I hope the view from the top is good, although with a helmet on I’m not sure I’ll be able to fully appreciate it. But it should be fun!
